Proposed Water Resolution

This is the text of a proposed resolution by Shane Sinenci of the Maui County Council for the County to enter into an intergovernmental agreement with the state Department Land Natural Resources. The DLNR is considering a long term lease of the East Maui watershed which is of huge importance to the Maui community. Many people feel that Maui should have more say in how this resource is used and this resolution helps to address that concern. Uploaded January 6, 2022.
