Haiku Town Stop Sign

Register your support for a stop sign at the corner of Haiku Rd. and Kokomo

Currently there are three stop signs at the intersection of Haiku and Kokomo Rds (near the US Post Office): One at the bottom of Kokomo before it becomes Haiku Rd, one on Haiku Rd where is intersects Kokomo, and one stop sign at the exit of the parking lot next to Nuka Restaurant. People driving mauka on Haiku Rd do not have to stop where it becomes Kokomo. This makes it dangerous to exit the parking lot.

Part of the problem at this intersection is sight-lines – it is very difficult to safely pull out of the Aloha Center parking lot when cars are parked on Haiku Rd in front of Nuka or the post office; they block the view of traffic coming up Haiku Rd.
